Adriena Clifton, J.D.
In law school, I found a love for business and real estate law. I’ve since devoted my career to helping startups, small business owners, HOAs, landlords, and tenants solve their everyday problems.
I grew up on Shaw Island, Washington. From an early age, I have understood the importance of level-headed problem-solving in the management of small, tight-knit businesses and communities. After working at two law firms, I realized my small-town heart might be better suited for an independent practice. A solo practice allows me the flexibility to give your matters the time and attention they deserve.
I look forward to meeting with you for a consultation regarding the following kinds of issues in Washington State:
Your small business needs outside general counsel that can provide strategic and adaptable legal support;
You are an artist or creative with a brand to protect;
You would like to start a business;
A tenant refuses to leave or is behind on rent;
Your lease agreements or business contracts could use an update;
Your landlord has wrongfully retained your security deposit;
The unit you are renting has been damaged by forces beyond your control, and your landlord has not made repairs;
You have been accused of enforcing HOA rules in an unfair way;
You are unsure of your rights and duties as a landlord, tenant, or HOA member;
You’re an expert at what you do. Let me be the legal expert so you can do more of what you’re great at.
